Asifabad NEWS: Man gets 10 years jail for raping a girl

Asifabad: An Asifabad court on Tuesday sentenced a man to 10 years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 6,500 for raping a girl four years ago. District Sessions Court Principal Justice MV Ramesh pronounced the sentence and fine against Rebena Sudhakar of Rollapahad in Rebena mandal, finding him guilty of raping a girl from Gopalnagar in Thandoor mandal in 2020 under the pretext of marrying her.

Will accept people’s verdict, says Venkatarami Reddy Superintendent of Police K Suresh Kumar lauded Asifabad DSP P Sadayya, Rebena Inspector Chittibabu, Rebena Sub-Inspector D Chandrasekhar and Court Duty Officer Ram Singh for securing the conviction.
