Truck ran over bicycle, student died

Durg. A truck crushed a girl student returning home from tuition in Anjora of the district, due to which she died on the spot. Two other students are injured. Anjora police reached the spot on information. The family members of the deceased student have also blocked the road along with the villagers. According to the information of Anjora Police Station, the incident took place near Thanod Mode located in Anjora police station. Ojasvi Parkar (13), a resident of village Changori, used to study in class VIII in her village. She had gone to Anjora from her home for tuition. On Saturday morning, she was going to her home Changori after tuition. Two friends were also with her.

It is being told that all three were going on their bicycles. Meanwhile, a truck loaded with straw from the opposite direction hit the student Ojasvi. She came under the truck along with the bicycle. Two of her friends fell away after being hit. They have also been injured. There is anger among the villagers after the incident. The villagers along with the family members have blocked the road by sitting on a dharna in front of the truck. They demand that action be taken against the accused truck driver. The victim’s family should be given proper compensation. Police force is also deployed on the spot.
