Obscene photo of girl went viral on Instagram, accused arrested
Raigarh. In Pusaur police station, a local girl filed an application against Krishna Chauhan, resident of village Barpali, district Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, for defaming her by uploading her photos on Instagram. The victim girl told that she got acquainted with Krishna Chauhan through Instagram for the last one year. Krishna Chauhan used to say that he liked her, but she explained that she should not get involved in all this. On Krishna Chauhan’s insistence, she once went to Chandrapur with him. Where both of them took selfies together. Meanwhile, the girl’s marriage was fixed in her society, Krishna Chauhan broke the marriage by sending a photo of both of them to her fiancé. Due to which, on June 9, the girl along with her brother went to Krishna Chauhan’s house to understand him.
Where Krishna Chauhan and his mother scolded the girl and her brother and sent them away and the next day Krishna Chauhan defamed her in the society by uploading many photos on Instagram. On the application of the girl, Police Station Incharge Pusaur Inspector Rohit Banjare registered a case against accused Krishna Chauhan under Crime No. 151/2024 Section 509 (b) IPC and raided the house of the accused and arrested him today. The mobile phone of accused Krishna Chauhan, son of Lal Chauhan, age 21 years, resident of village Barpali, Police Station Saria, District Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, was seized and he was sent on judicial remand. Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Shri Divyang Kumar Patel and guidance of City Superintendent of Police Akash Shukla, Police Station Incharge Pusaur Inspector Rohit Banjare, Assistant Sub Inspector Manmohan Bairagi and Head Constable Dol Narayan Sahu played an important role in tracing and arresting the accused.
