Mohali NEWS: Cyclist boy crushed to death

Mohali: 13-year-old Virat was killed while a six-year-old pillion rider was injured after being hit by a truck near Cheema Boilers on Thursday morning. The victims were rushed to hospital where Virat succumbed to his injuries.

A case has been registered against the truck driver Shaukeen Singh, resident of Gurdaspur, at Phase 1 police station on the statement of the deceased’s father Parminder Singh. The complainant said the incident took place around 7:45 am on Thursday and the truck driver fled from the spot.
