Murder of BJP Yuva Morcha’s city vice president, was very close to Kailash Vijayvargiya, police raids continue
Indore: BJP Yuva Morcha’s city vice president Monu Kalyane was shot dead in Indore on Sunday. Monu was very close to Kailash Vijayvargiya, cabinet minister in Madhya Pradesh government. The incident took place in Chimanbagh area of MG Road police station area of the city. According to the police, Piyush and Arjun shot Monu Kalyane due to old enmity. At present, both the accused are absconding and their search is on.
Monu Kalyane, who had a say in the politics of Indore’s assembly number 03, was counted among the close people of Kailash Vijayvargiya’s son, former MLA Akash Vijayvargiya. Monu, who was injured by the bullet, was taken to the hospital by his companions, where doctors declared him dead. According to the police, Monu Kalyane was preparing for the saffron yatra on Saturday night. Meanwhile, two youths named Piyush and Arjun reached Chimanbagh intersection on a bike.
Both of them started discussing something with Monu while sitting on the bike. Meanwhile, Arjun, who was sitting behind on the bike, took out a pistol and fired at Monu Kalyane and fled from the spot with Piyush. The accused also fired at Monu’s friends present at Chimnabag intersection, but they escaped. Kailash Vijayvargiya’s son and former MLA of Indore 03 Assembly Akash Vijayvargiya reached Monu’s house with his supporters and met his family and consoled them.
