Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai paid homage to Veerangana Rani Durgavati on the occasion of Balidan Diwas by garlanding the statue of Rani Durgavati located at Canal Link Road in the capital Raipur today. Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam and Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap were also present on this occasion.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai said that Rani Durgavati was a symbol of women power and she fought bravely against the Mughals. It is a matter of pride for all of us that she was from the tribal society. He said that the sacrifice of Rani Durgavati inspires all of us countrymen.
