Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami called PM’s words inspirational, said – people are connected with Mann Ki Baat
Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami listened to the 100th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program at DSA Ground, Mallital, Nainital on Sunday. The Chief Minister said that the 100th edition of Mann Ki Baat program, which is being broadcast continuously since October 03, 2014, has set a historic precedent.
Describing the Prime Minister’s words as inspirational, Chief Minister Dhami said that the “Mann Ki Baat” program has worked to change the lives of many Indians today. Through this program, the Prime Minister mentions the tireless efforts of the person working at the last end of the society, which is inspirational for the society. The Prime Minister has also mentioned all those people in “Mann Ki Baat” who are quietly engaged in social service. The Chief Minister said that today people are connected with PM’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’.
The CM said that the Mann Ki Baat program has the task of providing a new positive energy by connecting the countrymen. Mann Ki Baat program has made government schemes successful by adding mass public participation. At the same time, the task of realizing the unfulfilled dreams of the struggling youth has been done. He said that Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission in Uttarakhand will increase the number of tourists and strengthen the economy of the mountain. Along with this, self-help groups of the state have been empowered to promote Vocal for Local and better branding of their products is being done. Value addition is being done in local products for Local Four Global. Through value addition, farmers will get better price for their produce. The Chief Minister said that by following the inspiring words of the Prime Minister, we are determined to make Uttarakhand the best state in the country.
In Uttarakhand too, special arrangements were made to listen to the PM’s “Mann Ki Baat” programme. Common people listened to the PM’s Mann Ki Baat with a huge number of students in schools, colleges etc. On this occasion, MLA Sarita Arya, District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Garbyal, SSP Pankaj Pandey, District President Pratap Bisht, National Office Incharge Mahendra Pandey, MP Representative Gopal Rawat, Dr. Anil Kapoor Dabboo, CDO Sandeep Tiwari, Additional District Magistrate Ashok Joshi, Deputy Collector Rahul Shah, Paritosh Verma, Anand Bisht, Daya Kishan Pokharia, Manoj Joshi, CMO Dr. Bhagirathi Joshi including school children and general public were present.
