Patwari arrested for taking bribe, ACB team had accompanied the farmer
Rajnandgaon. Anti Corruption Bureau has arrested a Patwari red handed taking bribe in Khairagarh district on Friday. ACB’s 8 member team caught the Patwari after a complaint from a farmer. Patwari had demanded a bribe of 4 thousand rupees from the farmer for correction in the land documents.
According to the information received, Vivek Pargania posted in Prakashpur Halka No. 11 of Khairagarh district was demanding bribe from a farmer in the name of correction in land documents. The farmer was visiting the Patwari for many days. Due to the Patwari making excuses in doing the work, the farmer complained to the Anti Corruption Bureau. After investigating the complaint, this morning ACB arrested the Patwari taking bribe with an amount of 4 thousand.
It is being told that the Patwari is a resident of Mamta Nagar of Rajnandgaon. The ACB has taken action against him on the basis of sufficient evidence. The ACB is preparing to present the Patwari in the civil court of Khairagarh. Till the time of writing these lines, the ACB team is investigating against the Patwari.
