Tamil Nadu: Release the list of investments received by Tamil Nadu

Chennai: The DMK government should release the list of investments brought into the state from Chief Minister MK Stalin’s recent visit to Spain and previous visits to other foreign countries. Union Minister L Murugan said the government should also release the list of companies the chief minister plans to visit during his US trip. “There is no transparency about the investments brought in by his visits. We are only seeing companies leaving the state,” Murugan said. On the Kallakurichi tragedy, Murugan said a CBI probe should be ordered to bring out the truth. “The government had ordered a CB-CID probe into the deaths caused by spurious liquor in Marakkanam last year. What happened to that? The DMK fears a CBI probe may expose the links of their party men with those involved in the sale of illicit liquor and expose the incompetence of the state government. The government should immediately hand over the probe to the CBI,” Murugan said
