Telangana: Water supply disrupted on 4, 5 July

Hyderabad: Water supply will be disrupted for 24 hours in many areas of the city from July 4 to 5 due to ongoing repair work at the Peddapur substation by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB).

According to HMWSSB officials, the emergency power shutdown will be done to replace the 132KV breaker, control and relay panel at the 132KV Peddapur substation and to overhaul the isolator at the 132KV Kandi substation.

The work will run from 7 am on July 4 to 7 am on July 5. Due to this shutdown, water supply will not be available in many areas including Sheikhpet, Nallagandla, Chandanagar, HUDA Colony, Hafeezpet, Manikonda, Narasimha, Manchirevula.
