Panchkula: 15-year-old boy commits suicide after quarrel with his parents

Panchkula: A 15-year-old boy, a resident of Sector 20, committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan in his house on Wednesday. Sector 20 police station SHO Bacchu Singh said that the boy was a class 10 student in a local school. He said, “He used to take tuition in Sector 10. According to the information received so far, his parents scolded him for being absent in class on the complaint of the teacher.” He said that the boy locked the door of the house at around 7 pm on Tuesday evening and committed suicide on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday. Police officials said that according to preliminary investigation, the boy was not under any mental stress, but he took this step due to a dispute in the family. Police said that the body of the boy was recovered on Wednesday morning.
