Driverless KSRTC bus breaks through Press Club wall in Kottayam

KOTTAYAM: In a freak accident, a parked KSRTC bus moved backwards on itself and demolished the wall and gate of the Press Club – PWD buildings. The incident took place on Saturday morning.
The bus was parked on an uphill road leading to the depot. The driver went to have a coffee and was shocked when he saw the bus rolling backwards. As it was during the early morning hours, only a few vehicles were on the road, which averted a major tragedy. The bus crossed the road on its own and crashed into the wall of the building.
