RI In Odisha Vigilance Net, Caught Accepting Rs 5000 Bribe
Kandhamal: Odisha vigilance raid on RI in Kandhamal on Wednesday, he was allegedly caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. 5000. Dilip Sahu, RI (Revenue Inspector), Durgapanga Revenue Circle under Kotagarh Tahasil in Kandhamal has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance.
He was caught while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) from a Complainant for processing his application in a Mutation Case for issuance of Record Of Rights (ROR or Land Patta).
The entire bribe money has been recovered from accused Sahu, RI and seized, Odisha vigilance raid on RI. Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at two locations of Sahu, RI from DA angle. In this connection, Berhampur Vigilance P.S. Case No. 11 dt. 09.07.2024 U/s 7 P.C (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered. Investigation is in progress against accused Sahu, RI. Detailed reports awaited.
