Youth shot dead in illicit relationship, people created ruckus
Patna: Criminals shot dead a youth in Bihta police station area of Patna district of Bihar on Friday. Police is prima facie calling it a case of murder in illicit relationship.
According to the police, on Friday morning, criminals shot dead Anjit Kumar (32), son of Ramadhar Yadav, a resident of Doghra village. It is said that the deceased had gone to the field in the morning to cut fodder, when the miscreants shot him, due to which he died on the spot.
Danapur (2) Deputy Superintendent of Police Pankaj Kumar Mishra said regarding the incident that prima facie the case seems to be a love affair. He said that Jitendra Kumar, Manoj Kumar and others of the same village have been accused of the murder of Anjit Kumar. It is said that a few days ago the deceased was caught doing wrong things with the sister of the accused. It is suspected that this incident was carried out as a revenge.
After this incident, the local people created a ruckus, however the police pacified the people and calmed the situation. Pankaj Kumar Mishra said that the police has taken the body in its custody and sent it for post-mortem. After the incident, all the accused are absconding, the police is conducting raids to catch them and is investigating the case from all angles.
