Telangana: BJP asks government to reschedule B.Ed, Group-I exams
Hyderabad: Accusing the Congress government of creating confusion regarding the conduct of DSC exam, BJP State general secretary Kasam Venkateswarlu said the BJP was not demanding the government to postpone the DSC and Group-1 exams but to fix such dates which would give job aspirants enough time to prepare for the exams. Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Venkateswarlu said the youth of the state wanted the exams to be scheduled in such a way that they could easily prepare for them.
“We don’t want the government to postpone the exams. We want the government to reschedule the DSC and Group-1 exams in such a way that students could get time to prepare,” he said. Launching a scathing attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, the BJP leader said the Chief Minister was unnecessarily complicating the issue and creating fear among the youth. “What will you lose if you reschedule the exam dates?” he asked. Criticising the Chief Minister for not appointing an Education Minister, he said that the Chief Minister is asking political parties and student organisations to discuss the issue with the Minister even though the Education Department is under him. He demanded the Chief Minister to discuss the issue with the unemployed unions and immediately call an all-party meeting on the issue.
