Police detained mother of trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar, big action

Mumbai: Pune Rural Police has detained Manorama Khedkar, mother of trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar. She has been detained from Mahad near Raigad where she was staying in a hotel. According to preliminary information, 3 teams are coming to Pune with Manorama.

A case has been registered against Manorama Khedkar, mother of controversial probationary IAS officer Pooja Khedkar, in a land dispute. Pune Police was looking for her and was conducting a search operation.

In fact, a video of Manorama Khedkar, mother of controversial officer Pooja Khedkar, went viral, in which she was threatening some people with a gun in her hand over a land dispute. After this video surfaced, the police had registered an FIR against seven people including Manorama and her husband Dilip Khedkar.

Apart from the mother, the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has also found evidence against Pooja Khedkar’s retired father Dilip Khedkar that he has earned assets disproportionate to his income during his service. Top sources of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) said that there are indications that trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar’s father Dilip Khedkar earned assets disproportionate to his income during his service in the Maharashtra government. He retired from the post of Director of Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) in the year 2020. According to police sources, Manorama’s phone was switched off. She was also not cooperating in the investigation. Police also reached her bungalow in Baner and recorded the video where the officials did not find anyone. Police said that Manorama and Dilip are not cooperating in the investigation. Police were conducting a search operation in search of Pooja’s family.
