Health workers protested against the action taken against BMO

Korba: Health workers protested strongly after Katghora’s Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dr. Rudrapal Singh was removed from the post. Health workers say that removing Dr. Rudrapal without proper reason is unfair and it is a step to discourage their morale.

BMO A meeting of Chhattisgarh Health Workers Federation was held in Katghora on Sunday, in which the Federation demanded the Korba district administration to immediately reinstate Dr. Rudrapal to the post of BMO. The Federation has warned that if their demands are not met, they will take mass leave and stage a sit-in protest. The union said that if their demands are still not met, the Chhattisgarh Health Workers Federation will go on an indefinite strike. This protest may affect health services in the district, due to which the general public may have to face trouble.

This move of the Health Workers Federation has increased the pressure on the administration, and there is a lot of anger among the health workers demanding the reinstatement of Dr. Rudrapal to the post.
