Lightning wreaks havoc in Jashpur
Jashpur: A tragic incident has occurred in the district due to lightning. Three people including a husband and wife have died due to lightning in two different villages. The incident has spread mourning in the village. As soon as the information about the case was received, the police reached the spot and registered a case.
According to the information received, the first incident is from Ekamba village of Sanna police station area. Mohar Sai and his wife Parbi Bai were struck by lightning while planting saplings in the field. The husband died on the spot in the incident. The injured wife was admitted to the Community Health Center Sanna for treatment. Where the woman also died during treatment.
The second incident is from Chichhli village located next to Ekamba village. Where 45-year-old Jagsai, who was working in the field, also died due to lightning.
