This car has been modified based on the Indian model. MG Motor has released several teasers for the Windsor EV. MG has introduced a panoramic glass roof on the Windsor EV, which is something special in this price range. Let us tell you that it will be released on September 11.
MG has revealed the rear passenger compartment of the Windsor EV. Many features have been revealed. Rear air conditioning vents, 3-seater rear bench seat with 3-point seat belts for all, rear center armrest and faux leather seats with large honeycomb pattern stitching. According to MG Motor India, the rear seats can recline up to 135 degrees. The teaser also reveals a lot of legroom at the rear, which looks quite good for a five-seater.
The company has not yet revealed the specifications of the Windsor, which will be launched in India, but in overseas markets it will be available in two battery pack options. The first is a 37.9 kWh battery and the second is a 50.6 kWh battery. The travel range up to 360 km is 37.9 kWh and the travel range up to 460 km is 50.6 kWh. These models are powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor and produce 134 horsepower. MG Motor India has confirmed that the battery and powertrain components of the Windsor will be sourced from Indian suppliers.
According to company officials, the sale of Windsor is expected to start around September 16. At the same time, sales start in September. At the same time, the price of this electric car will be less than Rs 2 crore. In the Indian market, it will compete directly with Tata Nexon EV, MG ZS EV, Tata Curve EV and Mahindra XUV400 EV.
