Ludhiana: Two people arrested with 48 bottles of illicit liquor

Ludhiana: Shimlapuri police arrested a person from Guru Gobind Nagar, Sarvraj Singh, resident of Reru Sahib Road and recovered 36 bottles of liquor from his possession. On August 28, when the police party was patrolling in Guru Gobind Singh Nagar, Shimlapuri, a suspicious person was seen riding a scooter. On suspicion, police stopped him and upon searching, 36 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from him. In another incident, Moti Nagar police arrested Tarlochan Singh, resident of MIG Colony, Jamalpur with 12 bottles of country liquor. On August 28, during patrolling near Moti Nagar, he was stopped on a scooter and liquor was recovered from him. The suspicious person was going to sell the liquor to his customers.
