Mohali: Clash between two groups, shots fired, 1 arrested, case registered against 6

Mohali: Police have arrested one person and registered a case against six others in a clash between two groups at Samgauli Village, Dera Bassi on Thursday night at around 11 pm. Several bullets were fired in this clash. Police said that two groups of Samgauli residents Satish Kumar and Rakesh Kumar were clashing over an old dispute, when Satish called some people and opened fire on the other side. Police reached the spot and seized empty bullet shells. On the complaint of Ashok Kumar, a case has been registered against Satish Kumar, Maninder Singh, Sanjeev Kumar and three others. Maninder has been arrested. Police is investigating who fired the shot and whether the weapon was licensed or not.
