Ludhiana: 200 people took advantage of government services in Jandalikhurd camp
Ludhiana: More than 200 residents of various localities of Ahmedgarh subdivision visited the facilitation camp organised under the Sarkar Aapke Dwar Abhiyan at Nearby Village Jandali Khurd here on Friday. ADC Sukhpreet Singh Sidhu presided over the programme and SDM Ahmedgarh Gurmeet Bansal monitored the progress of the camp. Senior officials of the agriculture, fisheries, horticulture, cooperatives, industries and animal husbandry departments explained in detail about various social welfare schemes besides resolving the complaints received from the visitors during the camp.
Changing of details in Aadhaar card, mutation in case of registered deeds, widow and old age pension, economically weaker section certificate, issuance of residence certificate and issuance of new smart card were among the most sought-after services during the camp. DC Pallavi said that special camps were set up at public places in various villages falling under all the three subdivisions of the district. Lambardars and social workers were seen acting as a bridge between the beneficiaries and the government personnel. The organisers said that the complaints received during the camps were either redressed on the spot or the process for it was started today.
