Expressing gratitude on this decision, CM Sai wrote, the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government dedicated to agriculture and farmer welfare have taken some important decisions in the interest of the farmers.
In which the government has decided to remove the minimum export duty from Basmati rice. Along with increasing the import duty on edible oils from 0% to 20%, the export duty on onion has been reduced from 40% to 20%. At the same time, the Modi government has decided to increase the basic duty for refined oil to 32.5%. Certainly, these important decisions will increase the income of the farmers of Chhattisgarh producing soybean, basmati, onion, mustard, sunflower and groundnut. The demand for their produce will increase more in the market.
I express my heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for this decision.
