CG NEWS: Traffic closed in underbridge after heavy rain
Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi. Due to the rains since last night, all the rivers and streams of the district are in spate. This has disrupted the traffic as well as normal life. Even the Pendra-Bilaspur main road has been submerged, due to which there is a long jam on the road.
It has been raining heavily in the district since night. Due to continuous rain, the water of rivers and streams is flowing over the culverts and bridges of the lower part of the hilly areas. People coming and going are crossing the fast flowing roads by putting their lives at risk.
Due to continuous rain, the underbridge near Pendra Road railway station has been filled with water, due to which the underbridge has been closed for traffic. Even before this, waterlogging has been happening in the underbridge due to heavy rains.
