Israeli Airstrike on Damascus Claims Life of Syrian TV Anchor Safaa Ahmad
Mezzeh, Damascus: Safaa Ahmad, a well-known Syrian TV anchor, tragically lost her life on Tuesday morning during an Israeli airstrike in Damascus’ Mezzeh District. The Syrian Ministry of Defense reports that the attack, which was launched from the occupied Golan Heights on the city, occurred at around two in the morning.
The missile attack was carried out by Israeli aircraft, and the Israeli Ministry of Defense confirmed this. They also had several other targets in and around Damascus. Despite the fact that the Syrian air defenses were able to intercept and destroy the majority of the missiles and drones.
