One dead as ammunition vehicle crashes, 8 people were travelling in it

Korba news. SECL’s Gevra mine has witnessed the second major accident within 24 hours. An explosive vehicle loaded with gunpowder, which was returning after blasting for coal excavation, met with an accident. There were eight people on the vehicle, one of whom died on the spot after being crushed in the vehicle. Many people have been injured. This is the third accident in three days.

After the incident, there was a commotion in the mine. The concerned officer of SECL was contacted to get information in this regard, but he did not consider it appropriate to answer the phone. SECL management has informed the Dipka police station. The injured have been sent to the hospital.

This morning, a dumper fell 80 feet down in SECL’s Gevra mine. The driver was taken out by breaking the door. His condition is very critical and he has been referred.
