Punjab: Sarpanch candidate injured in attack

Punjab: A sarpanch candidate was attacked by unidentified miscreants in Bagriyan village of Amargarh subdivision this afternoon. Former sarpanch of the village Paramjit Singh was attacked by a group of armed miscreants when he was pasting banners at the village bus stand with his supporters. Passersby and supporters admitted the blood-soaked Singh to a hospital in Nabha.
