Finance bank cashier absconded with 5 lakh cash, team formed for arrest
Korba. The cashier of Isaf Small Finance Bank in Korba has absconded with Rs 5 lakh. Civil Line Police has registered a crime on the report of the bank manager. The absconding cashier is being searched. Meanwhile, a team returned empty-handed from Odisha.
Isaf Small Finance Bank has opened its branches in many areas including Raipur, Bilaspur, Janjgir-Champa, Raigarh along with Korba and financial transactions are being done through them. According to the information, a branch of a private bank is operating in the Civil Line area of Korba.
Birendra Girna has been working as a cashier in the bank for the last several years. The money collected from the field and the customer’s money is deposited with the cashier. The manager thought that the cashier must have deposited the money, but on checking online, the money was not deposited.
