A girl returning home to celebrate Diwali died in a road accident
Janjgir. A young woman who was coming home to celebrate Diwali died after being hit by a truck. Her companion sitting with her was referred to SIMS after getting seriously injured. The incident took place near the road village Mudabhatha in Pantora police station area.
Priyanshu Yadav, 22 years, son of Krishna Kumar Yadav, resident of village Navgawan, was coming to her village from Korba on her scooter after taking Diwali leave. She had reached near village Pantora Mudabhatha when the driver of a speeding truck vehicle, driving recklessly, applied brakes on the roadside without giving a signal.
Due to this, Priyanshu Yadav, who was driving the scooter, collided with the rear of the truck along with her companion Kishan Markam. Due to this, Priyanshu and Kishan Markam got seriously injured on the head. Both were lying injured on the road for a long time. After this, on receiving information about the accident on Pantora Baloda main road, Pantora police took both of them to CHC Baloda in injured condition. Where in the hospital, the doctor declared Priyanshu dead. Seeing the condition of the injured Kishan Markam, he was referred to SIMS Bilaspur. After postmortem, the body was handed over to the family.
