Petrol and diesel prices in Chennai remain stable for 224 days

Delhi Delhi. Google is developing artificial intelligence technology that can potentially take control of computers through a web browser client that can perform tasks such as researching, shopping or booking a flight. A new report says that the technology, internally codenamed ‘Jarvis’, will be based on a future version of Google’s Gemini Large Language Model and could arrive by December.

Citing people with direct knowledge of the product, The Information has reported that Jarvis will likely be available in the Google Chrome browser and will help users “automate everyday, web-based tasks”. The technology can take screenshots of current web browser activity, understand the content and context and then perform the required actions by clicking buttons or automatically entering text. According to the report, the current prototype takes a few seconds to execute a sequence of actions.

Jarvis will be Google’s answer to Rabbit’s Large Action Model, but it may also be part of the company’s strategy to stay ahead of the competition. For example, Microsoft’s Copilot Vision lets Windows users talk to an AI chatbot about the web pages they’re visiting. They can converse with the bot on a topic, but the company hasn’t said whether Copilot Vision will be able to automate tasks like Jarvis. Apple, a late entrant in the AI space, has also announced that the upcoming Apple Intelligence will be able to read screens and take action based on the content. Anthropic recently announced a new beta update for the cloud, which it said can use computers on users’ behalf. OpenAI is also coming up with a similar version, which can be integrated into ChatGPT to automate complex tasks by “effectively taking control of the customer’s device.”

While the report speculates that Jarvis could be announced as early as December, Google could change its plans depending on progress on this technology. Google is reportedly planning to release the technology to some testers who can help it find and fix bugs in Jarvis.CHENNAI Chennai: The price of petrol and diesel in Chennai has remained unchanged for the last 223 days.
Accordingly, the price of a litre of petrol in the city today is Rs 100.75 and a litre of diesel is priced at Rs 92.34.
