Rare chameleon rescued in Odisha’s Kendrapara district

Pattamundai: A rare chameleon has been rescued in the Kendrapara district of Odisha on Tuesday. The rare species reptile was rescued in Pattamundai of the district.

Sarada Biswal, a young advocate has rescued the rare chameleon.

As per reports, Sarada Biswal was returning from Pattamundai with his friends when he observed that a few miscreants were taking away the chameleon by tying it in a piece of cloth.

Biswal stopped there and rescued the chameleon from the miscreants. It was found that the rescued one was a rare species of chameleon. Later, he handed over the chameleon to the Forest Department.

The officials of the Forest department later took the rare chameleon to its natural habitat in the jungle of Mahakalapada.
