Telangana: Man dies of heart attack in temple
Hyderabad: A 31-year-old man died of cardiac arrest while performing parikrama at the Anjaneya Swamy temple in KPHB. The man named Vishnuvardhan suddenly fainted during his routine prayers at the temple.
Vishnuvardhan, a native of Kadiri in Sathyasa district, lived in the city and was reportedly employed in the private sector. He followed a spiritual routine and often visited the Anjaneya Swamy temple to perform parikrama. However, his traditional worship ended tragically at around 8:30 am on Monday when he suddenly suffered a heart attack near a pillar of the temple in Hyderabad.
Eyewitnesses, including fellow devotees, immediately recognised the situation and attempted to revive him using CPR. However, their efforts were unsuccessful. Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene, but by the time they arrived, Vishnuvardhan had died.
Police have launched an investigation following the incident. Police have confirmed that it appears to be a natural death, and the sudden death was possibly due to a heart attack.
Many devotees expressed surprise at the untimely death of Vishnuvardhan, who was a regular visitor to the temple.
