Two 5-year-old girls drown to death in pond in Odisha’s Balasore district
Jaleswar: In a tragic incident, two 5-year-old girls met watery grave in Balasore district of Odisha on Friday. The sad incident took place in the panisapada village under Basta Police Station limits in the district.
The identity of the two little girls is yet to be ascertained.
As per reports, the two children were playing near their house today morning. After some time they somehow went to the pond which is near their house. And later their bodies were found floating in the pond water.
As the children did not return home for long, their family members searched for them here and there. Meanwhile someone informed that two bodies are floating in the nearby pond. The family members rushed to the pond and the locals fished out the two bodies.
The two kids were then taken to the nearby hospital. However, the doctors there declared the two kids ‘brought dead’.
A pal of gloom has descended in the area following the sad demise of the two little girls.
