BRS appoints new committee for NRI UK cell, Naveen Reddy appointed chairman
Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on Sunday appointed Naveen Reddy as party’s NRI UK Committee president. BRS party NRI coordinator Mahesh Bigala along with the NRI BRS founder president, Anil Kurmachalam, announced the appointment of a new president and the committee of the cell.
The leaders congratulated the new committee members and appealed to them to continue the good work of the BRS’ NRI cell. Bigala and Kurmachalam asked the cell to be more active on social media as an intellectual group and participate in each and every activity initiated by the BRS.
Mahesh Bigala also appreciated the current BRS NRI UK president Ashok Kumar Goud Dusari for his contribution to the party. “The BRS, during Ashok’s six-year tenure, organised several events and activities to strengthen the party and KCR’s leadership,” he said.
Recalling the NRI cell’s contribution to the historic Telangana movement, Bigala said, “BRS party’s first NRI chapter was established 14 years ago in London and since then they have played an instrumental role in the Telangana Statehood movement.” The cell must ensure to put efforts in rebuilding Telangana currently in the role of a strong opposition, he added.
