Honda Activa Electric launched with replaceable battery
Business Business: Honda has finally launched the new Activa Electric. The company has named it Activa E. It is also the company’s first electric two-wheeler in the Indian market. The company has launched it in two options. These include Standard and Sync Duo. However, the company has not yet announced the price. The prices will be announced on January 1. Booking will also start from this day. In such a situation, delivery will start in February 2025. Initially it will be sold in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Talking about the specification of Activa E, it comes with a removable dual battery of 1.5 kWh capacity. Both the batteries are said to give a range of 102 km on full charge. These batteries are called Honda Mobile Power Pack E and are developed and serviced by Honda Power Pack Energy India. The company says that it has already opened battery swapping stations in Bengaluru and Delhi. At the same time, these stations will also be installed in Mumbai soon. These batteries power a 6kW fixed magnet synchronous motor that produces a peak torque of 22Nm. It includes three driving modes: Econ, Standard and Sport. Its maximum speed is 80 km/h. At the same time, a speed of 0 to 60 km/h can be achieved in 7.3 seconds.
Talking about the features of Activa E, it comes with connectivity with the Honda RoadSync Duo smartphone app through which you can control many features. It has a 7-inch TFT screen. The screen supports navigation. Control is done using a toggle switch on the steering wheel. It also has day and night modes. It also integrates key features of Honda H-Smart including Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Unlock and Smart Start.
