Fraud in Chhattisgarh, two fraudsters caught in Rajasthan
Rajasthan. The Anti Crime Unit of Chhattisgarh Police has arrested two fraudsters in Alwar. These accused cheated a retired government employee of Rs 54 lakh 30 thousand by threatening to implicate him in a money laundering case. Chhattisgarh Police has arrested the accused with the help of Alwar Police. According to the information, cyber thugs contacted retired government employee Jai Singh Chandel, a resident of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, and threatened to implicate him in money laundering. Inspector Vijay Chaudhary of Bilaspur Anti Crime Unit said that a case of fraud with retired employee Jai Singh Chandel came to light in July.
Cyber thugs cheated Jai Singh of Rs 54 lakh 30 thousand by threatening to implicate him in a money laundering case. The thugs told Jai Singh that your mobile number and Aadhar card are involved in money laundering and other activities. The accused had also sent a fake FIR to the victim, due to which the victim got scared and for about 10 to 15 days, by making different transactions from his account, cheated him of Rs 54 lakh 30 thousand.
When the victim realized that he had been cheated, he complained about the matter to the police. Three accused have already been arrested in this case. On the basis of interrogation of them, two accused have been arrested, in whose accounts an amount of about 8 to 10 lakh rupees was deposited. They are being questioned right now. Immediately after that, both these accused will be produced in the court. Chhattisgarh Police says that both the accused have been arrested with the help of Rajasthan Police. After presenting them in the court, both the accused will be taken to Chhattisgarh. One of the arrested accused is named Nikunj son of Tarachand and Lakshya Saini son of Babulal Saini. Police said that the first arrested accused were residents of Bharatpur and Alwar area. The miscreants sitting in Mewat are cheating people in various cities of the country including West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh.
