Rourkela train mishap: Death toll rises to 2, two others critical

Rourkela: In the tragic train mishap incident of Tuesday night, the death toll has increased to two. Following the accident yesterday one person died and 3 others sustained injury. Today, one of the critically injured persons succumbed to the injury. The accident took place near Kalunga Railway gate.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

As per reports, as train was approaching the gate was closed. However, the biker wanted to cross the rail track despite the gate was closed which led to the accident. Accordingly, the Sikandarabad-Darabhanga Express train hit the bike.

Two people have been killed in this train accident while two others have sustained critical injury.
