40 chickens died in a house fire, 1 lakh cash also burnt

Durg. A house caught fire last night in Banbarad village under Nandini police station of the district. The fire took such a fierce form that more than 40 chickens were burnt alive inside it. The house owner says that more than one lakh rupees cash was kept in the house, which has also been burnt to ashes. Nandini police is investigating the matter.

District Fire Officer Nagendra Kumar Singh said that the incident took place in Banbarad village late last night. Here, information was received about a fire in Rahul Nishad’s house. As soon as the information was received, the fire and disaster management team was immediately dispatched. As soon as the firefighters reached there, they started extinguishing the fire in the burning house.

The fire was very strong, flames were coming out from all sides. Therefore, very carefully entered inside it and an attempt was made to control the fire with the help of water and foam. After about three to four hours of hard work, the fire could be controlled after using 5-6 fire engines and water.
