Iran: Goods exports worth over $570 million

Tehran Tehran: An official of the Tamarchin Customs Office has said that non-oil products worth more than $570 million were exported from the Customs Office in the current Iranian calendar year (starting March 21, 2024). Ali Akbar Ashrafi, Director General of the Tamarchin Customs Office, said that since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21), 1.4 million worth of non-oil products have been exported from the Customs Office, worth more than $570 million.

He informed that the main products exported from the Customs Office to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq include tiles, ceramics, mineral clay, iron utensils and steel products, fresh fruits and vegetables. He said that 15,500 tons of non-oil goods worth $50 million were imported at the Tamarchin border during this period. He said 1.1 million tonnes of non-oil commodities were transited through Tamarchin Customs, registering a growth of 120 per cent compared to the same period last year.
