Lakhs stolen from ADJ’s house, FIR registered
Raigarh. A theft incident has taken place in the house of the fourth Additional District and Sessions Judge in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. In which unknown thieves stole goods worth thousands of rupees kept in the house after getting the opportunity. The incident is from Chakradhar Nagar police station area. According to the information received, Rajesh Saraf is posted as a reader in the court of the fourth Additional District and Sessions Judge, Raigarh. Who lodged a report in Chakradhar Nagar police station that the fourth Additional District and Sessions Judge had gone to Delhi on leave from 21 December to 2 January.
During that time, an unknown thief broke the lock of his house and took advantage of the opportunity and committed theft and fled. On 28 December, when the court peon Virendra Kanwar went to the judge’s bungalow for supervision. Then he saw the lock broken and informed Rajesh Saraf about the matter. Reader Rajesh told the judge about the incident through phone. On January 3, the judge returned to Raigarh and on checking the belongings in the house, he found that expensive watches, pens, utensils and other items worth Rs. 35,000 had been stolen. After the incident, on receiving information about the case, Chakradhar Nagar police have registered a crime against the unknown accused and have taken the matter under investigation.
