Raipur: Health Minister called a meeting regarding HMPV virus in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. He talked to the officials of the department about the cases of the virus. Along with this, he also took the report of investigation in the state and preparation to deal with any emergency situation.
The officers told the minister that the health department is fully prepared for any kind of emergency. Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that there is no need to panic about the HMPV virus, there is no emergency situation in the state. Its infected people have been found in Chhattisgarh’s neighboring state Maharashtra.
Chhattisgarh Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that a team of experts in the health department is monitoring this virus. Information is also being gathered about its symptoms and effects. The department is ready for any kind of emergency since the Corona epidemic.
The Health Minister said that this virus has been reported earlier and there is nothing to panic about, but it is important to be cautious. The general public should emphasize on cleanliness. Our best effort is to stop this virus and also make the public aware to fight it.
Experts said that to avoid HMPV virus, keep distance from crowded places, do not come in contact with patients with cold and cough and fever, get yourself examined immediately at the local hospital on symptoms of cold and cough and fever. So that you do not have to face any kind of problem.
Cover your mouth and nose with a handkerchief while coughing and sneezing. Keep cleaning your hands with soap and sanitizer. If you are sick, stay at home, drink more water and eat nutritious food.

Do not reuse tissue paper when you have cold, cough and fever or even in normal condition. Do not touch your eyes, nose and mouth repeatedly. Do not spit in public places and do not use any medicine without consulting a doctor.
