Raipur Breaking: Two crooks arrested for cheating people of lakhs of rupees in the name of getting SIM ported
Raipur. Raipur. Inspector General of Police Raipur Range Amresh Mishra has directed the Range Cyber Police Station Raipur to collect technical evidence in cyber crimes and arrest the accused. Action is being taken by the Range Cyber Police Station Raipur as per the instructions received. The applicant Chaman Lal Sahu had lodged a report at Police Station Rakhi that he was duped of Rs 8.86 lakh by unknown accused by porting out the Jio SIM linked in his bank account to E SIM.
On the report, crime number 225/24 section 318 (4), BNS was registered and the investigation was handed over to the Range Cyber Police Station Raipur. During the investigation, accused Mateen Khan and Narendra Kumar Jalakshatri, both residents of Bilaspur, have been arrested. The accused used to open bank accounts from other persons and sell them to other accused, 3 other accused have been arrested earlier in the case. Reports have been filed in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Rajasthan against the bank accounts seized from the accused. The accused have been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
