My character is similar to Kareena Kapoor’s in ‘Jab We Met’: Deepika Aggarwal

Mumbai (IANS) | ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’ actress Deepika Aggarwal talks about playing a character similar to Geet played by Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor in ‘Jab We Met’ in her upcoming Punjabi film ‘Ooncha Dar Babe Nanak Da’. Talking about bagging a Punjabi film with Jimmy Shergill, Deepika said, “I feel extremely blessed to have got the opportunity to work with such talented actors and to be a part of this amazing project. The film is going to be shot in beautiful locations of Canada and Jalandhar. Playing a role like Kareena Kapoor’s character in ‘Jab We Met’ is a dream come true for me.

The actress said that I am grateful for the love and support I have received from my fans, and hope to do justice to this character.

Deepika was earlier seen in ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’ where she played the role of a fashion designer. Deepika made her debut in the Punjabi film industry with the film ‘Jee Wife Ki Movie’. She has also appeared in several other TV shows and movies.
