Councillor usurped the land of a tribal family and built a Prime Minister’s house on the same land

Kawardha. Pandatarai Nagar Panchayat, adjacent to the district headquarters, is once again in the news. This time, a serious allegation has been leveled on Congress councilor of ward number 10, Pradeep Jaiswal, of committing a big scam under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. A complaint has surfaced against the councilor for getting the house registered in the name of the beneficiary and getting it registered in the name of his wife Sarita Jaiswal and misusing government funds.

Complainants Sagar Kori, Pushpendra Patel and Jasbir Saluja, along with other local people, have exposed the whole matter and submitted a memorandum to Collector Gopal Verma, demanding strict action against the councilor.

According to the complainants, councilor Pradeep Jaiswal grabbed the agricultural land (khasra number 400/1, area 0.03 hectares) of a poor tribal family of ward 4 by calling it mutual sale, whereas the land is actually registered in the name of Chandulal and Sundarbai. It is alleged that the construction of Pradhan Mantri Awas was done on this land in the name of his wife, due to which the poor beneficiary could not get his rights.
