Relief for Akhanda 2 Producers

The Telangana High Court has granted relief to the production house of ‘Akhanda 2: Thandavam’, 14 Reels Plus, in the matter of ticket price hike. The division bench has stayed the orders given by the single bench on the hike in movie ticket prices and advance premieres. The latest film ‘Akhanda 2: Thandavam’, directed by Boyapati Srinu, stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role. It is known that the Telangana government has issued orders increasing the ticket prices of this film.

However, a petition was filed in the High Court single bench on Thursday, seeking cancellation of the increased ticket prices and premiere shows for this film. However, the single bench that heard the petition… issued orders to cancel the movie premieres and not to increase the ticket prices. With this, the film production company 14 Reels Plus immediately approached the High Court division bench against the orders given by the single bench. The division bench that heard this petition stayed the orders given by the single bench. Not only did it stay until the 14th of this month, but it also postponed the next hearing to the 15th of this month. With this, the ‘Akhanda 2’ team seems to have got temporary relief.
