Shocking! 5 killed as car hits road divider in Punjab highway

Delhi: In a tragic accident 5 people were killed including a woman. The deceased woman is said to be a police constable. The deceased persons were residents of Gujarat. They were travelling in a SUV from Bathinda to the Dabwali area early in the morning today.
The location of the accident is reported to be Bathinda-Bikaner national highway near Gurthari village in Punjab’s Bathinda district.
Following the accident, the injured persons were immediately rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bathinda, where they were reportedly pronounced as brought dead by the doctors.
The deceased persons of the horrific accident is reportedly identified as Satish, Bharat, Arjun, Janak and Amita Baan. All were aged between 25-30 years. As per reports Amita was a police constable in Gujarat.
The cause of the accident is reportedly said to be due to the dense fog in early morning because of which they couldn’t navigate the direction properly and got crashed.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the Civil Hospital in Bathinda for post-mortem.
It is learned that the victims had gone on a trip to Himachal Pradesh and were returning to Gujarat when they faced the fatal road accident.
The family of the deceased has already been informed and further investigation regarding the incident is underway.
