Tamil Nadu: Cyclone likely to form in Bay of Bengal tomorrow

Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Meteorological Department has stated that a low-pressure area (a cyclone symbol) is likely to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal on Monday (February 16).
A press release issued by the Meteorological Department stated: An atmospheric upper-level circulation is persisting over the eastern Indian Ocean near the equator and the adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal.
Due to this, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the southern Bay of Bengal and the adjoining Indian Ocean on Monday (February 16).
Due to this, dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal from Sunday (February 15) to February 18. Following this, isolated light rain is likely over Tamil Nadu on February 19 and 20.
Snowfall: Meanwhile, there are reports that there will be light snowfall in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu districts on February 15 and in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram and Cuddalore districts on February 16.
