Nalgonda To Become A Smart City In Two Years

State Roads, Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that Nalgonda town will be transformed into a smart city in the next two years and will show what a smart city looks like. Similarly, he said that Nalgonda will be transformed into an industrial hub in the next 10 years. On Wednesday, he laid the foundation stone for various development projects in the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation. The minister laid the foundation stone for the Padmavati Colony Park works in the town, which will be developed at a cost of Rs. 80 lakhs, and for the Shivaji Nagar Park works, which will be developed at a cost of Rs. 50 lakhs. The minister spoke in a meeting convened on this occasion. He said that from now on, anti-social activities like rowdyism and marijuana will be suppressed with an iron fist in Nalgonda. He announced that Nalgonda town will be transformed into a place of peace, harmony and a peaceful atmosphere.
First priority for urban cleanliness
He said that Nalgonda town will be developed in all ways, and as part of that, cleanliness will be given first priority in the town, and as part of that, surprise inspections will be conducted from now on. He advised the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Corporators to focus on the problems within their divisions and solve them. He said that water tanks are being constructed so that the people of the town can get drinking water 24 hours a day without any problem. He said that construction of substations and replacement of lines have been undertaken around the town to ensure sanitation, development of parks, and voltage problems in the town. He said that the outer ring road work is going on at a fast pace with Rs. 900 crore. He said that a plan is being prepared to develop the Anganwadis in the town. He said that some more government schools will be developed like the Bottuguda school. He said that the NYAC building is under construction at a cost of Rs. 20 crore, and the Advanced Technology Center, built at a cost of Rs. 84 crore, has been completed.
