Minister Anitha R. Radhakrishnan’s asset freezing case: Adjourned till February 24

Tamil Nadu: Thoothukudi District Court Judge Vasanthi issued an order on Wednesday, postponing the hearing of the disproportionate assets case against Tamil Nadu Minister Anita R. Radhakrishnan until February 24.
The disproportionate assets case against Tamil Nadu Fisheries, Fishermen’s Welfare and Animal Husbandry Minister Anita R. Radhakrishnan and her family and siblings is ongoing in the Thoothukudi District Court.
The investigation in this case has now reached its final stage, with the examination of government witnesses completed.
As such, when the case was heard in the District Court on Wednesday, Minister Anita Radhakrishnan, her wife, son Anantha Ramakrishnan, and the Minister’s brothers Shanmuganathan and Sivanandan were not present, while only two of her three sons, Anantha Padmanabhan and Anantha Maheshwaran, were present.
After this, District Judge Vasanti, who was hearing the case, issued an order to postpone the hearing of the case till February 24.
