Social media ban for those under 13 years in AP?: Chandrababu

Amaravati: The AP Assembly meetings are continuing. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu spoke during the discussion on the Finance Bill introduced in the Assembly on Friday. He said that the government is committed to ensuring that children are not harmed by social media.
He said that if technology is used for personal gain, it can create miracles, but if it is used for evil, it will lead to destruction. He said that there has been a suggestion that it would be better to ban social media for those under the age of 13, and that a program to make social media inaccessible to them will be launched within 90 days, and that a decision will be made after discussing with everyone what to do for those between the ages of 13-16.
He alleged that during the YSRCP regime, government assets were mortgaged and debts were incurred, burdening the people. He revealed that despite the financial difficulties in the state, all schemes are being continued and that Polavaram will be completed and dedicated to the nation by next year.
